The folder will be deleted along with all the app shortcuts inside it. Tap and hold the folder and when you grab it, move it at the top of the screen where it says “Remove” and let go. However, all the app shortcuts inside the folder will be deleted as well, so move any app shortcut if you don’t want to remove it. If you would like to remove the folder, you can easily do it. Tap and hold the folder and when you grab it, move it anywhere you like and let go to place it. A folder can only be placed on the home screen of the phone, so you cannot move it to app drawer (unless you installed a custom launcher). You can move the folder from one area to another just like you move apps. Now, leave the app shortcut on any area of the home screen or leave it on another folder to move it to it.
