First, I built the front and back frames out of inexpensive 2×2 furring strips. I used wood glue on all my joints and hid all the screws with the pocket holes. Okay, so I know I’ve been talking up the Kreg Jig with each build I do, but I really couldn’t have built this without it. It’s definitely been one of the best tool investments I’ve made.
